It is one of
the few Romanesque churches in the area which keeps the
original wooden roofing on its nave, as must have been
the case in almost every Romanesque church in Besaya
valley and Campóo. There are two heads of Apostles on
the apse, the only remains of Romanesque painting in
Cantabria. |
