The construction of this building was instigated by Don Lorenzo de Rugama, an eminent naval man. It is made up by the main house with its tower, and by the chapel of Carmen, joined to the house by a covered passageway. The coats of arms in stone bearing the arms of Rugama on the chapel and the gateway are the remarkable features.
