| This is one of the early examples of a pre-churriguresque altarpiece with columns in zig-zag, a characteristic pattern in the areas owned by the Arbishopric of Burgos. The reliefs depicting St Francis's life, the Inmaculada and the free-standing tabernacle are remarkable in the whole art work. |
