A famous engraving by Hohenberg (made c. 1563-67) that illustrates the "Civitates Orbis Terrarum", a book edited by George Braun in 1575. It shows, on the left, the Old Town, in a line with the abbey and San Felipe castle; on the right is the New Town, across Becedo stream. The suburbs (arrabales) are shown outside the city walls.
