The Hotel Real uses the architectural languages of hotels in fashionable cities of the time, such as the Negresco in Nice. The great dome, and the black slate mansardé roofing, are clearly of French influence. Also remarkable is the use of elements clearly borrowed from regional architecture: pinnacles, large coats of arms in stone, balconies.
