This is one
of the most remarkable rococo altarpieces. Its design
foreshadows a neo-classical aesthetics and its sculpture
suggests the influence of Andalusian patterns. It is
worth remarking the image of the Cristo de la Agonía
(Christ of Agony), a 18th century Andalusian carving
resembling Pedro Roldán's style. |
