This church reflects the Burgundian style, crossed with the sobriety and austerity of Cistercian architecture. On only two levels, it has neither a triforium nor buttresses. It has three naves, and would originally have had polygonal apses. It was rebuilt after the fire of 1941, and the present transept and ambulatory that enlarge the space at the head of the church were added.
