The Annual Meeting of the Spanish Magnetism Club (CEMAG<\/a>), and of the Spanish Chapter of the IEEE Magnetics Society, was held on November 7-8, 2024, at the Faculty of Science, University of Cantabria in Santander. The event was hosted by the Magnetism in Matter group, with Luis F. Barquin<\/strong> serving as the conference chair. The local organizing committee included J. Rodriguez, J.I. Espeso, M. de Pedro, J. Alonso, C. Moreno, P. Gonz\u00e1lez-Izquierdo<\/strong>, and M. Barquin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was a great success, bringing together leading researchers and young scientists from the magnetism community to explore the latest advancements in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Presented on “How Can Magnetism Contribute to Environmental Sustainability?”<\/em>, exploring the intersection of magnetism and sustainability in modern technologies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Dr. Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ednez P\u00e9rez<\/strong> (INMA, CSIC – University of Zaragoza)
    Her presentation, “Integrating Magnons into Quantum Technologies”<\/em>, highlighted the emerging role of magnons in the development of quantum devices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
