Carolina Fernández was selected by the University of Cantabria to attend to the V Jornadas Doctorales del Grupo G9 as PhD student in Engineering. This annual meeting, hosted in 2017 by Universidad de las Islas Baleares in Palma de Mallorca, took place on February 8^th – 10^th, 2017. Carolina really enjoyed the experience of meeting other PhD students of diverse areas of knowledge such as Medicine, Mathematics, Psychology, Law, History and Literature. She recommends PhD students of the department to participate next year as it is a very interesting and unique experience during the PhD.
