The project X-MEM, coordinated by Dr. Nazely
Diban, from the Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering Department of the UC,
held its kick-off meeting last October 18th, 2019 in Santander. The consortium
is formed by researchers from Yamaguchi University in Japan, Jerzy Haber
Institute of Catalysis and Surface Chemistry in Poland, Ege University, Atilim
University and Hacettepe University, the three of them located in Turkey.
XMEM is a project funded by EIG Concert Japan – Connecting and Coordinating European Research and Technology Development with Japan and it aims at developing new separation processes and catalytic processes with biomedical and environmental applications and renewable energy production based on new materials of functionalized membranes.
