Prof. Inmaculada Ortiz was awarded by the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry (RSEQ) with the recognition of the trayectory in Chemical Engineering 2019. This award recognizes an outstanding member of the RSEQ whose career in Teaching & Research in the field of the Chemical Engineering has an impact on the development and promotion of this discipline at national and international level.

Moreover, Iván Merino, who developed his PhD. in the Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering Department under the supervision of Prof. Ángel Irabien and Dr. Jonathan Albo, was nominated by the RSEQ to receive the award to the best doctorate thesis.
