Several members of the Chemical &\nBiomolecular Engineering Department of the University of Cantabria attended the\n12th<\/sup> European Congress of Chemical Engineering, celebrated in\nFlorence last September 15-19, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Inmaculada Ortiz delivered the plenary conference of the ECCE12 congress entitled \u201cSeparation Challenges in the Quest for Sustainability\u201d<\/strong>. In her talk, she presented the upmost forefront developments in advanced separation processes with challenging applications such as for reduction of energy consumption, new energy sources and devices, biomedical applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marta Rumayor: Climate change\nmitigation: A techno-economic assessment of the formic acid production by\nelectrochemical reduction of CO2<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sophie Schr\u00f6der: Aqueous\nelectrochemical oxidation of TRICLOSAN: the potential formation of PCDD\/Fs<\/p>\n\n\n\n
