Three Chemical Engineering students received awards to their academic projects:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Doctorate Programs in the ETSIIT: Sandra S\u00e1nchez Gonzalez \u00ab\u201cNuevos pol\u00edmeros funcionalizados como soporte para el desarrollo de modelos neuronales in vitro\u201d, supported by the company Deloitte.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Master in Chemical Engineering: Sophie Schr\u00f6der \u201cAn\u00e1lisis de intercambiadores i\u00f3nicos quelantes como agentes de separaci\u00f3n para la gesti\u00f3n de \u00e1cidos agotados\u201d, supported by the company Apria Systems.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chemical Engineering Degree: Jose Manuel Vadillo \u201cDesign, building and testing of a Chem-E-Car prototype based on a chemical reaction\u201d, supported by the company Solvay Qu\u00edmica.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the event, the Universidad de Cantabria AIChE Student Chapter gave three prizes awarding the most outstanding contributions to the scientific posters competition:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Marian Mantec\u00f3n \u201c<em>PCL\/rGOmembranes as scaffolds in a perfusion bioreactor for tissue engineering: experimental assessment and modelling\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Salvador Asensio \u201c<em>Modelling of\u00a0 absorption refrigeration using F-gas + Ionic Liquid pairs with the soft-SAFT EoS\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Sergio San Mart\u00edn \u201cPOWER TO GAS: Integration of wind renewable energy for Hydrogen generation as a future energetic vector in the Atlantic area\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Moreover, Jose Manuel Vadillo was awarded with the AQUIQ\u00c1N prize to the best final project degree.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-324 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/grupos.unican.es\/pasep\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/san-jose.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"294\" srcset=\"https:\/\/grupos.unican.es\/pasep\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/san-jose.jpg 500w, https:\/\/grupos.unican.es\/pasep\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/san-jose-300x176.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The ETSIIT of the University of Cantabria celebrated Saint Joseph\u00b4s Day, last March 19th, 2018.
