{"id":533,"date":"2018-06-10T11:10:22","date_gmt":"2018-06-10T11:10:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grupos.unican.es\/pasep\/?p=533"},"modified":"2020-03-20T10:48:47","modified_gmt":"2020-03-20T10:48:47","slug":"seminar-january-29th-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/grupos.unican.es\/pasep\/seminar-january-29th-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"SEMINAR &#8211; January 29th, 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Last January 26<sup>th<\/sup>, 2017 Agilent Technologies and the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department of the University of Cantabria organized the seminar \u201cInnovaci\u00f3n en Espectroscop\u00eda At\u00f3mica y Molecular\u201d, attended by more than 90 people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event started with the welcoming by Jose Angel Rodr\u00edguez and Rub\u00e9n Garc\u00eda, Agilent sales assisstants. Then Gema P\u00e9rez, on behalf of the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department presented the \u201cAnalytical Services of the SOSPROCAN Unit\u201d. Fernando Tobalina, product specialist from Agilent Technologies, gave a presentation about UV-Vis-NIR systems for advanced characterization of materials. Afterwards, Nikolay Kovachev, another product specialist from Agilent Technologies, presented the advances in FTIR spectroscopy for routine and research analysis, developing a practical demonstration with the equipment Agilent Cary 630.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After a coffee break, Nikolay Kovachev presented the New methodologies for elemental analysis to determine major and trazes components in complex samples.\u00a0 Fernando Tobalina talked about metal analysis in complex samples by ICP-OES.
