{"id":870,"date":"2018-06-12T10:53:14","date_gmt":"2018-06-12T10:53:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grupos.unican.es\/pasep\/?p=870"},"modified":"2020-03-20T10:47:39","modified_gmt":"2020-03-20T10:47:39","slug":"chem-e-car-competition-october-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/grupos.unican.es\/pasep\/chem-e-car-competition-october-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"CHEM-E-CAR Competition &#8211; October 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The team of students of the Degree in Chemical Engineering of Universidad de Cantabria participated in the <em>Chem-E-Car competition <\/em>that took place on 1<sup>st<\/sup> October within the World Congress of Chemical Engineering in Barcelona from 1<sup>st<\/sup> to 5<sup>th<\/sup> October, 2017.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The success of the Cantabrian expedition was acknowledged with the award to the \u201cBest Inherent Safety in Design of Car\u201d), which reveals the excellent work carried out by the team of students.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">18 teams from different countries, like Canada, Iran, Qatar, Poland, United States or Spain, were able to finally take part in the competition. The car \u201cCantabriCar\u201d of UC achieved the best place among the Spanish teams that participated in the event, and the sixth place in the global ranking of the competition.
