We are happy to announce that Patrick Sole has accepted to be a keynote speaker for WMC 2016. Here is the abstract of his talk
Abstract:
In 1994 the Kerdock and Preparata-like codes were constructed by Hensel lifting from cyclic binary codes in primitive length: the Simplex and Hamming codes respectively.
In recent years, in collaboration with several co-workers, we have lifted binary cyclic codes in non primitive length: Melas, Zetterberg, and irreducible cyclic codes.
We have derived algebraic decoding algorithms for the first two codes, and used the third one to construct low correlation sequences.
